In the past 10 years, our college matriculation rates have increased from 65% to 79%. However, COVID-19 and other factors continue to threaten persistence and dropout rates. To mitigate this, the partnership expanded to include targeted support services and work-based training partners.
Our coalition member KIPP TX has partner with Arizona State University to design an access for ALL into the dual credit and early college pathways. We are diminishing all barriers to these highly effective roads to success.

UFCS provides immersive (project-based, internship, apprenticeship, dual credit, hiring events, etc…) and virtual experiences that help students gain exposure and a better understanding of options tailored to their desired outcomes. Additionally, our GRADegy gamified app has been blended in to increase the quality and consistency of support and empower young people to persist.
Houston area service provides joined forces to provide free opportunities for scholarships for school and free training in electrical construction, EKG, CNA, Patient Access Representative, leading to several OY obtaining certifications for excellent careers.
Damien started identifying and overcoming hyper sensitivity and fear of outside influences to discovering avenues of opportunity through his own introspection and sharing his future goals. We had the privilege of connecting him to resources that would bring him to success.
