First generation, marginalized, and low-income youth and young adults need support systems that are centered on equity and empowerment. UFCS works with our community to provide a robust network of support that meet a diverse set of needs. Working together, we can ensure that support is always free, and barriers are removed in their path to a meaningful education and career. They dared to dream big. Let’s dream with them!
We work at the intersection where support and educational services are not as accessible to underserved youth and young adults. By focusing on these gaps across the leaner journey, we increase opportunities and empower learners to persist and achieve a compelling future.

United for College|Career Success (UFCS) and Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)
Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) represent an efficient way to channel your philanthropic efforts towards supporting underserved youth in their journey towards college and career success. These funds not only allow you to make a significant charitable contribution but also to avail an immediate tax deduction, while retaining the privilege to recommend grants from the fund over time.
At UFCS, we are privileged to collaborate with some of the leading DAF sponsor organizations and their philanthropic services teams in the United States. Your grants to UFCS through Donor-Advised Funds can be earmarked in one of two impactful ways:
- Allocating the funds where the need is most pressing, thereby allowing us to channel resources towards pivotal areas.
- Designating the funds for a specific focus area that aligns with your philanthropic interests, such as educational equity, career development programs, or health and wellness initiatives for youth.
Individuals associated with BNY Mellon, Fidelity Charitable, and Schwab Charitable can conveniently direct their contributions through the DAF Direct window available on our webpage.
UFCS is a registered non-profit, holding the tax I.D. number 887-2591184
